Eligibility Criteria

- Be a new student starting a full-time, on-campus master’s program in September 2025 or January 2026.
- Have received a conditional or unconditional offer for an eligible postgraduate taught program at the University of Stirling.
- Be self-funded (not receiving external sponsorship or other University of Stirling scholarships, except Sports Scholarships).
- Enroll directly in a full-time postgraduate degree program at the Stirling campus (online programs excluded).
- Not be progressing from an INTO Pre-Master’s program (though INTO Progression Scholarships may apply).
- Avoid using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) in the application, as such applications will not be assessed.
- Note: Students from East Asia, EU, Ghana, India, Kenya, Nigeria, or Pakistan may also be eligible for country-specific scholarships (e.g., £4,000 tuition fee waiver for Ghana, India, Nigeria, or Pakistan residents). If multiple awards are offered, the highest-value scholarship applies.

Deadline
Applications must be submitted by May 31, 2025. Applications for January 2025 programs are assessed from July 2024, while September 2025 and January 2026 applications are processed from November 1, 2024.
How to Apply
No separate scholarship application is required; eligible candidates are automatically considered upon applying for admission. Follow these steps:
- Apply for a full-time, on-campus postgraduate taught master’s program at the University of Stirling via the online application portal.
- Secure a conditional or unconditional offer of admission.
- Submit required documents, including:
- Academic transcripts
- Two academic or professional references
- Personal statement or motivation letter
- Proof of English proficiency (e.g., IELTS 6.0–7.0 or TOEFL iBT 80–100, depending on the program)
- Copy of passport
- CV or resume (if required by the program)
- If awarded the scholarship, pay the tuition fee deposit within 10 working days of receiving the scholarship offer (by November 10, 2024, for January 2025 starts).
- Applications are assessed within six weeks, with decisions notified within eight weeks of submission.
