Eligibility

- Eligibility Criteria: To qualify for this scholarship within university study abroad programs, applicants must meet these basic requirements:
- Be a national of a World Bank member developing country (see list)
- Not hold dual citizenship in any developed country
- Be in good health
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) earned at least three years before the application deadline (23 May 2025)
- Have at least three years of recent development-related work experience post-Bachelor’s
- Be employed full-time in development-related work when applying (exceptions apply for nationals of fragile/conflict states per the Application Guidelines)
- Secure unconditional admission (except for funding) to a JJ/WBGSP-preferred Master’s program outside your home country by the deadline, with the admission letter uploaded during application
- Not be an Executive Director, alternate, staff, or close relative (e.g., parent, sibling, aunt/uncle, niece/nephew) of the World Bank Group
